Andy Roman and The Roman Bros. are touring the Southwestern United States.  They are busy playing the club circuit and have attracted some major festivals including 42nd Annual Texas Jazz & Blues Fest in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Andy has been around the likes of Arturo Sandoval, Kirk Whalum, and Peter White and most recently performed with Jackson Browne and Taj Mahal in Byron Bay, Australia at the East Coast Blues & Roots Festival.  Be on the look out for their new CD being released this year.  If you're a music fan, you must listen to this group.

Roman Bros. New Smooth Sound

The Roman Bros. have taken a giant leap like no other. Recording three CDs to demonstrate their versatility they are coming out with a Regional-Mexican category, a Latin Pop/Hip Hop International recording and an all English Smooth Jazz version.  This group of young musicians can go from one extreme to another without problems.  The talented band is made up of Andy Roman/ Saxophone, Tito Roman/Drums, Artie Roman/Vocals-Keys, Joel Roman on Bass and Joe Romano on Guitar.

The Roman Brothers is a new approach to Regional-Mexican music for the millennium.  The group is combining sounds from Old School Tex-Mex to International Pop to Modern Latin Hip-Hip and Smooth Jazz all together that is refreshing to the mind. Presently the group is recording their second CD that will appeal to the masses with brand new songs.  Their first CD entitled, "Andy Roman and the Roman Bros." under Barb Wire Recording Company is out on the market with such great songs as "Te Vas Angel Mio", two classy dance cumbias, "Maruca" and "Puchelo", a sexy International Pop ballad entitled "Ancias de Quieres", a sax for the summer polka that will make you kick up your feet named "Safe Sax", and the up-tempo, party all night songs like "Todavia Me Quieres, Enceniate A Perder, Yo Se Que No Me Quieres and Maria Dora".  The smooth jazz song that you can't miss on the CD is "Canto Mis Palabras".

Andy Roman, a saxophone oriented contemporary smooth Bluesy-jazz sound that rises from the land of West Texas, brings the crowd to its feet with its sweet sax-o-phone sound.  Every time Andy plays his horn it's a sure crowd pleaser.  He has been around the jazz scene for many years and has traveled with The Roman Bros. in the US extensively with some appearances in Mexico.  The group of 5 welled trained musicians bring in a tight sound that surrounds every  element of music from the 70's Funk, Hip-Hop, Blues, to the present smooth jazz sound.  The group played the Las Vegas casino circuit for 5 years.  They have opened up for major groups like Kenny G, The Cover Girls Tower of Power, Zapp, Willie Bobo, Elvis The Impersonator, and many more.
